Maarif School is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our team, three days a week, 9 am - 2 pm.

Responsibilities

Provides care and oversight of care to students in accordance with physician’s orders, school policy and N.J. Administrative Code.

Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive health records for students.

Review student immunization records annually for evidence of student compliance to immunization schedule pursuant to N.J.A.C.

Promote a safe and healthy school environment.

Collaborate with staff and parents to address health-related concerns.

Assist with health education and wellness programs.

Communicates effectively with parents, school districts, community organizations, government agencies, students, supervisors and staff.

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in NJ or relevant qualification.

Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to handle emergencies and remain calm under pressure.

Valid driver’s license
