Kinetic Events Staffing is in search of event staff for a conference taking place in Chicago at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel from Monday, June 2, 2025, to Thursday, June 5, 2025. We're looking for reliable and polished professionals to support our client with a variety of duties to ensure their event is a success.

Job Description

• This event is an annual conference for mining executives and will be held at Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel (221 N Columbus Dr, Chicago, IL 60601).

• Job duties include registration, room monitoring, wayfinding, line management, swag organization, and light set up/tear down.

• Pay is $23/hour - we pay weekly via direct deposit!

• Parking will be reimbursed post-event for this event.

• Staff will need to wear their own black slacks, white button-down/blouse, and comfortable black dress shoes.

• Additional hours may be available before/after the shifts listed below, as our client has after-hours events in the works for conference attendees.

**Shift Dates & Times (Ideally available for all days of this event) **

• Monday, June 2nd, 2025: Mandatory onsite paid training from 10am-1pm (Paid for 4 hours)
• Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025: Shifts range from 6-12 hours and begin between the hours of 6 am-8 am.
• Wednesday, June 4th, 2025: Shifts range from 10-12.5 hours and begin between the hours of 6 am-7 am.
• Thursday, June 5th, 2025 : Shifts range from 6-8 hours and begin between the hours of 6 am-8 am.

Job Requirements

• Must have a considerable background in front-facing customer service roles.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a standard shift (typically 4-12 hours), except during designated rest breaks and meal periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
• Must have proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and actions while on the job.
• Limited phone use during shifts.
• Must adhere to all legal regulations and company policies set by Kinetic Events Staffing.

Ideal Candidates

• Previous event or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Flexible and adaptable, as job duties and schedules may change based on client needs.
• Tech-savvy and willing to learn new tasks and skills.
• Local to Chicago. Kinetic Events/our clients do not provide travel reimbursements.
