Job Title: Web Migration Specialist – WordPress & Accessibility

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 2/3 days onsite) - locals only Experience: 3+ years

We are seeking a skilled Web Migration Specialist to support a large-scale web modernization initiative focused on migrating websites from legacy hosting platforms to a centralized WordPress environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WordPress migrations, web accessibility (WCAG), customer engagement, and website functionality assessment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support migration of WordPress websites to a centralized hosting platform

Preserve SEO, content integrity, accessibility, and site functionality during migrations

Assess forms, workflows, integrations, search, and plugin requirements to recommend suitable solutions

Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure smooth migration execution

Coordinate DNS/domain updates and troubleshoot migration-related issues

Maintain migration intake, tracking, documentation, and reporting processes

Required Skills

3+ years of experience building, managing, and migrating WordPress websites

Strong understanding of WordPress CMS, plugins, and migration best practices

Experience with WCAG/accessibility standards and remediation

Ability to gather requirements and explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Knowledge of DNS, domains, redirects, and URL configurations

Strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with Git/version control systems

Exposure to higher education or enterprise web environments is a plus
