    JOB DESCRIPTION

    HiringThing is looking for a high-energy, driven professional with natural organizational instincts to join our Sales & Marketing department. You will help support the team along with the strategic growth of our channel partners through strong communication and presentation skills in a team environment. You are creative and passionate about the customer journey and pay attention to the small details. This reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing and is primarily an inside coordinator position but does require occasional domestic travel as needed; expected travel is 5% or less.

    There will be a thorough cross-functional training period as part of the onboarding process. After training within the department, you will have the tools you need to be proficient in the sales and marketing administration tasks; own projects; prepare presentations; demo our platform as needed; innovate and deliver partner perfection; thrive as a contributing team member to the sales department.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Constant daily tasks include coordinating and completing marketing and sales initiatives in Hubspot, along with other tools such as Wordpress, Adobe, Altissan, Google Suite and more.  You will be encouraged to grow into your role and own your work within a highly driven team environment. You will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles in projects and managing your own initiatives and contributing to our organization.

    Below is a list of core, initial responsibilities associated with this position. This list is subject to expansion based on the Coordinator’s skills, aptitudes, and performance. This role has multiple routes for growth and development into our expanding organization.

    • Work with the marketing team to maintain data records, build/automate nurtures, develop and host webinars, and support our website and overall marketing strategies
    • Support the sales team  to close business, optimize close rates, and continuously improve pipeline development
    • Complete market research, competitive analysis, identify prospect information
    • Track key metrics for the department, ensuring accuracy and maintenance
    • Contribute to content strategy and maintain content organization
    • Develop and design sales support documents
    • Participate in weekly team meetings, bringing your best self to the table
    • Demo the product within key channel partnerships and prospects when needed

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1 to 2 years of in a Sales Administrator/Coordinator position
    • 1 to 2 years of experience with Hubspot
    • Wordpress experience preferred
    • Strong data and presentation skills - you can build decks people like looking at
    • Self Starter – takes initiative and is always hungry to achieve and learn
    • Easily adaptable – not averse to change in a startup environment
    • Excellent communication, active listening skills and organizational skills
    • Ability to build relationships remotely
    • Proven ability to prioritize, work independently, manage time effectively and follow through on tasks/responsibilities
