Job Opportunity: Histo Technologist Location: Atlanta, Georgia, 30342 Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 06/15/2026 – 09/12/2026 Shift: M–F Day Shift | 5x8 | 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM Guaranteed 40 Hours Per Week

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Histo Technologist (Pathology Laboratory) experience required No local candidates within 50 miles ASCP (HT/HTL) Certification Required Successful completion of a formal Histology Technologist training program OR an Associate’s Degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Sciences Experience in pathology laboratory environments preferred Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred

Position Overview: The Histo Technologist will work within the Pathology Laboratory Department, supporting pathology, cytology, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience with: Receiving specimens from surgery Accessioning specimens into Cerner Collection of tissue blocks from pathology staff Tissue processing, embedding, cutting, and slide staining Supporting pathology, cytology, and IHC workflows
