    REPORTS TO: General Manager

    The Historic Hemet Theater is one of the oldest and consistently used theaters in the US. As we prepare for our Annual Tribute Fundraiser in August, followed by our 2024 fundraising season, we are in search of a qualified salesperson!

    HHT Mission: To offer events for everyone by providing all types of entertainment for the City of Hemet, the San Jacinto Valley, Riverside and San Bernadino Counties. We provide a platform for Performing Arts, Education, Community Service, Volunteering, and Job Opportunities for the community while being Financially Successful/Self-Sustaining. The Historic Hemet Theatre is a major component of the area’s quality of life.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their needs; identifies, demonstrates and recommends the level of sponsorship to meet those needs.

    Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.

    Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of HHT events and happenings, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.

    Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

    Proficient with MS Outlook and related software.

    Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR

    At least five years of related experience required.

    Experience in venue, entertainment, or event management/marketing preferred.

    Flexibility with schedule and ability to travel.

    Compensation:

    20% of complete sale of sponsorships.

    Contract sale signature.

    Complete fulfillment form outlining fulfillment of tickets, logo, other sponsorship level commitments.

    Reports all sales activities to GM at each conclusion. 7/31 to 8/25.

    15% of sponsorship for the sale and fulfillment by others.

    Paid upon completion of the above.
