Job Title: Histotechnologist

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, 30342

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: Evening Shift 5 x 8 (04:00 pm - 12:30 am) 40 Guaranteed hours per week

Job Description:

2 years of Histotechnologist (Pathology Laboratory) required

No locals within 50 miles

ASCP (HT/HLT) required

Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or an Associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.

Pathology, Cytology and IHC are all in Dept. 705- receiving specimens from surgery, accessioning specimen into Cerner, collection of blocks from PA staff, processing tissue, embedding, cutting, staining of slides.
