    THE ROLE: Working within a motivated, results driven sales team, the Sales Engineer will work hand in hand with one or more account managers to seek out and close enterprise deals for any of the products within our Bravura Security Fabric suite of products. The chosen individual will work with other senior Sales engineers at Hitachi ID to gather and interpret business and technical requirements and present our solutions to various prospects. This is a dual role, enabling the incumbent to leverage  their technical expertise within the field of Identity Access Management in order to utilize HIDS  products to effectively solve customer problems. THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE WITH THE INCUMBENT EXPECTED TO  TRAVEL  BETWEEN 25-30% ONCE IT IS SAFE TO DO SO.  HITACHI ID SYSTEMS INC. IS CURRENTLY  ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS  THE UNITED STATES. 

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/OBJECTIVES:

    • Creates RFP responses 
    • In partnership with Account Managers, conducts product demonstrations and responds to technical inquiries.
    • Liaises with engineering, marketing, sales, professional services and management during the sales process
    • Assists in researching and developing new products where applicable.
    • Delivers presentations to customers virtually and in-person (when it is safe to do so
    • Creates technical documentation such as specifications, technical how-tos, etc. 
    • Delivers technical webinars and presentations.
    • In partnership with the marketing department, participates in marketing reviews.
    • Delivers technical training and develops training and producing support material for the sales team.
    • Continually develops and manages a high end demonstration environment

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Remote work environment (online meetings and communication).
    • Work independently (minimal supervision).
    • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders (cross departmental).

    EQUIPMENT/TOOLS/SOFTWARE:

    • Google Slides, Docs, Sheets
    • AWS cloud infrastructure
    • Web conferencing platforms (WebEx, Google Meeting, Zoom)
    • Company-issued Laptop

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS:   

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

    REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILL QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • 3-5 years of technical experience within Identity and Access Management/Privileged Access Management space.
    • An understanding and exposure to :
      • ACTIVE DIRECTORY/WINDOWS AND OTHER ENTERPRISE DIRECTORIES
      • CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE
      • UNIX/LINUX SYSTEMS
      • DATABASES 
      • ITSM & SIEM SYSTEMS

       

    • Experience managing and interpreting customer requirements

    REQUIRED PERSONAL COMPETENCIES: 

    • Ability to work in teams as well as independently
    • Good problem solving skills
    • Ability to work longer  or irregular hours
    • Some travel may be required (provided it is safe to do so)

    OTHER KNOWLEDGE,  SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (NICE TO HAVE): 

    • Python coding experience  
    • Ability to speak French or Spanish
