About the Position
The full-time Showroom Associate at Hitched is responsible for providing customers with an excellent in-store shopping experience and overall customer service that the Hitched brand is known for. The role focuses on aiding upper management with driving showroom appointments and maximizing showroom sales as well as networking with complimentary wedding brands and professionals in the area, ultimately delivering Hitched’s key business objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Demonstrate regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Complete setup and breakdown of showroom floor on a daily basis
Maintain a clean, sanitized and organized showroom floor and storage room
Maintain a sanitized, polished and organized product display and try-on inventory
Provide a warm welcome to customers and give them the Hitched overview
Demonstrate knowledge of product and company to close sales and drive WOM
Determine customers needs based on preference, lifestyle, timeline and budget
Suggest additional merchandise such as silicone rings and wedding day gifts
Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout the appointment
Facilitate the checkout process and package same-day purchases with care
Invite purchasing customers to take a celebratory photo and congratulate them
Handle all returns and exchanges courteously and professionally
As a keyholder, open and close ensuring showroom is properly secured.
Support overall showroom experience, reporting to the Showroom Manager.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve monthly sales goals outlined by upper management
Represent Hitched at ongoing wedding expos and industry events
Collaborate with fellow employees on marketing and sales strategies
Provide phone, email and chat support through our customer service portal
Show leadership ability and capacity for growth beyond showroom associate role
Support and advocate for other local partners (vendors, artists, charities, etc.)
Perform other internal and showroom duties as needed
YOU ARE:
A passionate advocate of the Hitched brand
Experienced in customer service. Retail and/or jewelry experience a plus
Experienced in resolving unsatisfied customer issues or misunderstandings
Experienced in basic face-to-face, phone and email communication etiquette
Experienced with Google Suite and comfortable with learning new software
Able to demonstrate a track record of improving sales figures and other KPIs
Knowledgeable of community events and other local happenings
Someone who can work independently and bring new ideas to the table
Available to work evenings and weekends
