    Our client company is a global provider of technology solutions and services for Electric Vehicle (EV) Networks and Grid Management.

     

    Due to their deep financial pockets and their business skyrocketing, they are increasing their headcount significantly this year.

    Their intelligent charging infrastructure allows municipalities, utilities, automotive and other businesses to seamlessly own and operate their EV charging networks and integrated with renewable energy resources. They are a key participant in a national-wide initiative to reduce vehicle emissions.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Director of Communications will oversee the company’s communications strategy, media relations, social media, and communications campaigns. This role will lead their engagement and outreach efforts to private and public sector stakeholders, helping drive media coverage and to promote their role in enabling the new electric mobility future, the benefits of electrified transportation, and their unique offerings for the deployment and operation of EV infrastructure. Other responsibilities include:

     

    •Plan and execute integrated communications activities and campaigns that support the company’s strategic vision

    •Oversee and manage the relationship with the company’s external public relations agency to lead media and analyst relations strategy and develop narratives that drive coverage of key corporate activities

    •Regularly engage with various internal and external stakeholders to identify upcoming communications campaigns and build and manage a marketing calendar highlighting upcoming news (customer wins, partnerships, etc.), case studies, company milestones, etc.

    •Work with the Marketing team to assist brainstorming, designing, developing and/or publicizing marketing assets (e.g. case studies, infographics, customer/exec video interviews, social media visuals)

    •Review and help draft external communications materials, including quotes, press releases, and presentations

    •Leverage publicity and communications campaigns across all platforms to increase brand awareness

    •Develop strategies and opportunities to advance the CEO and other key executives’ thought leadership

    •Prepare talking points for executive-level speaking opportunities

    •Develop a company-wide communications strategy to help engage employees in the company’s mission, vision, and values

    •Create a content calendar for external communications channels and manage the

    •creation of social media content and blog posts

    •Review and ensure accuracy of all facts, statistics, and claims made about the company in external communications

    •Work with the Marketing team to manage the corporate events and speaking calendar

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    •Minimum of 7 years’ experience overseeing corporate communications and public affairs, or equivalent agency experience

    •Demonstrated experience building a strong business, trade, and consumer brand awareness

    •Proven track record of success with communications campaigns that involve multiple

    stakeholders

    •Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills

    •Proficiency in PowerPoint

    •Ability to set goals, measure performance and drive results

    •A strong desire for ownership and accountability

    •Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

    •Passion for building clean energy and electrified transportation future

    •Ability to travel occasionally
