    ABOUT THE POSITION:

    We are seeking an experienced Construction Accounting/Admin Representative to assist Controller with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Job Cost and administrative tasks.

    TIMING:

    Immediate

    The qualified applicant shall demonstrate the following:

    · Issue and track construction subcontracts and change orders.

    · Maintain contractor compliance such as insurance, W9, business license, etc.

    · Knowledge of AP Process and ability to assist AP clerk when requested.

    · Project billing for construction jobs.

    · Intercompany reimbursement billings.

    · Knowledge and understanding of project job costing.

    · Knowledge and understanding of general ledger, balance sheet and income statements.

    · Assist in month end closing and general ledger account reconciliations.

    · Human Resource and/or Payroll knowledge to assist in bi-weekly payroll and HR Maintenance.

    · Knowledge and ability to create procedures to ensure continuity of department duties.

    · Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Proficient with accounting principles

    SAGE 300 CRE software strongly preferred

    Construction accounting, budgets, job costing experience preferred
