    We are seeking an Assistant Foreman/Detailer to join our team! We are a General Contractor specializing in apartment unit renovations.  As our Detailer, you must have overall finishing skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall, texture, paint, and cabinet installation with an eye for detail. You must also be reliable, and trustworthy with excellent communication, organization, and very strong computer skills.  The Detailer will work directly for the Area Superintendents and will be the first person to walk the units to verify the scope of work, take all necessary measurements, and create the material list and will also be the last person out of the units to do punch list and complete/assign all necessary punch items before handover to the client. This work is fast-paced with the majority of the work being concentrated in Alameda/Contra Costa Counties and the San Francisco Bay Area. Bilingual, and fluent in both English and Spanish are required. Responsibilities: • Do initial job walks to verify scope, create a material list • Walk jobs to create punch list, perform/assign punch items, do a final walk • Coordinate with Superintendents to schedule laborers for punch work • Work closely with Project Coordinators/Office to review schedule, job status • Use iPad to document work performed, RFIs, COs, POs, Material List, photos, etc. • Demo interior apartments and haul debris when additional help is necessary • Perform electrical, plumbing, finish work as required to complete punch list • Occasional Home Depot runs (other stores/main office) to pick up material Qualifications: • Minimum 3+ years of experience in residential construction, with strong attention to detail • Ability to multi-task and do what is needed to complete the job • Complete the work within the given contracted time frame • Self-starter with excellent communication and organization skills • Positive attitude, willingness to work with others, giving a helping hand • Proactive communication with Supervisors, office, and field team • Ability to lift 50+ lbs • Proficient in using a smartphone, strong computer skills (word, excel, google) • Reliable transportation • Have your own tools • Hang sheetrock, tape, mud, texture, and paint • Remodel kitchen and bathrooms, install cabinets and appliances • Install flooring (tile, laminate, baseboard), install doors, trim, finishes • Perform minimal electrical and plumbing (outlet/light connections, hookup p-traps, and faucets) • Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish is required Compensation: $49,920 - $62,400 yearly
