Our Sales Associates are the most significant link in ensuring that our customers have a gratifying experience that will keep them coming back again and again. Sales Associates must deliver exceptional customer service, provide product knowledge as well as store history, and work as part of a team to meet and exceed company objectives.  

LOCATION – Charleston, WV POSITION – Part-time Retail Sales HOURS PER WEEK - 10 (MORE AT HOLIDAY TIMES) STARTING WAGE - $11.68 per hour

REQUIRED SHIFTS WE SCHEDULE –

APRIL 1– DECEMBER 31

Monday through Saturday: 8:30am-1:30pm, 8:30am- 6:00pm, 1:00pm- 6:00pm, 11:00am- 3:00pm  Sunday: 11:30am-5:00pm

JANUARY 1 – MARCH 31

Monday through Saturday: 9:30am-2:00pm, 9:30am-6:00pm, 1:30pm-6:00pm, 11:00am-3:00pm  Sunday: 11:30am-5:00pm

• During peak times (Christmas and Valentine's Day) overtime may be required.    * No requests for time off are granted during holiday times.

• Must have graduated high school or equivalent
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

·         Greeting customers and determining what each customer wants or needs

·         Answering questions regarding our shop, our history, chocolates and prices

·         Helping customers select chocolates for a custom box

·         Opening and closing store

·         Working in an open environment

·         Answering telephone and taking phone orders

·         Completing customer transactions using POS system

·         Counting register drawer and preparing bank deposit

·         Taking inventory and entering it into computer

·         Taking mail orders and entering them into computer

·         Putting away shipment neatly and quickly

·         Packaging chocolates for customers

·         Thoroughly cleaning entire store

·         Staying productive during slow times

·         Assisting in merchandising, display maintenance and housekeeping of sales floor

A TYPICAL DAY AS A HOLL'S RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE MAY INCLUDE -

• Greeting customers and assisting them with whatever they may need
• Answering questions regarding our shop, our history, chocolates, and prices
• Assisting customers select chocolates, wine & coffee for whatever occasion needed 
• Answering telephone calls and taking phone orders
• Completing customer transactions using POS system
• Counting register drawers and preparing bank deposit
• Taking inventory and stocking shelves
• Boxing chocolates for store purchase and mail orders
• Cleaning retail area and maintaining a beautiful store appearance 
• Staying productive and constructive during slow times by prepping packaging (folding boxes, organizing, etc.)
• Assisting in merchandising, display maintenance and organization of storage areas
