Job Summary:

Holy Angels is looking for an RN Charge Nurse to work the 8:00am-5:00pm M-F. This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of the LPN’s, working in the ratio as a staff floor nurse, running clinics and managing paperwork for the complex care needs of the residents.

Specific Skills and Responsibilities

Support and coordinate the activities of nursing staff.

Work as a Floor Nurse each shift as needed.

Oversee CMA program.

Facilitate annual review process of resident charts.

Assist in the Coordination of Medical Packets per State guidelines for each resident as necessary and annually.

Assist with Quality Indicators.

Enters and tracks the timely submission of resident related paperwork.

Promotes teamwork on a daily basis by encouraging communication and reporting problems and concerns to the Director of Nursing.

Demonstrates professional conduct, as measured by accuracy and legitimacy of billing, and adherence to confidentiality, accounting, and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications:

RN with Charge Nurse Experience required.

Current Louisiana RN License required.

Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license.

Education:

RN Nursing Degree

Must be able to work with individuals with developmental disabilities

Physical Demands:

Walk, stand, sit, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, use hands and lift up to 50lbs, 2/3’s of the time
