    Job Summary:

    Holy Angels Residential Facility is in search of a Scoop Shop Manager for our Howdy Homemade Ice Cream Shop located in Bossier City, LA. The Scoop Shop Manager will manage and work closely with a team of individuals with Intellectual Development Disabilities (IDD) and others with special needs, our Howdy Heroes. A Scoop Shop Manager for Howdy Homemade is responsible for the smooth, efficient, and effective management of all shop operations. Including managing shifts, producing ice cream, providing excellent customer service, and training our Howdy Heroes to do the same. The Shop Manager is required to manage all quality assurance for employees, products, and customers. Ultimately, the assurance of a smooth and effectively running store is the utmost priority of the Shop Manager.

    Specific Skills and Responsibilities

    · Marketing, Booking, Organizing and attending Catering Events · Schedule Adequate Store Labor · Managing the Staff · Controlling all Costs including Food & Labor · Train and coach new Employees · Order all food products & store supplies · Ensure proper amount of product is always available · Operate location in accordance with store budget · Communicate brand standards to all employees · Ensure Health and Safety standards are followed · Address customer and employee complaints · Foster and maintain a positive work environment · Develop, organize and participate in Local Store Marketing · Previous IDD / Special Needs Community Experience · Leadership / Training / Development Skills · Strong Community Relationships

    Qualifications:

    · Valid Driver’s License · Food Handlers Certificate · Previous Retail and Fast Casual Restaurant Experience · Excellent communication and problem solving skills

    Education:

    · High School or Equivalent · Food Handlers Certificate

    Work Environment:

    · Must be able to work with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities

    Physical Demands:

    · Walk, stand, sit, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, use hands and lift up to 50lbs, 2/3’s of the time
