Job Description

• Delivering quality professional nursing care to the Medical Oncology patient, working as an integral part of the healthcare team, collaborating with physicians/nurses regarding patient treatment plans, performing detailed assessments of patients.

***** Insures appropriate patient preparation as well as timely completion of chart at the completion of the shift.

***** Establish nursing care priorities and carry out in a timely manner.

***** Participates as a member of the procedure team to ensure for smooth operation and patient

flow on daily basis. Informs Manager or Director of problems in a timely manner

***** Performs other job related duties and projects as assigned by Manager or Director

***** Attends committee meetings as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelors is required.

Experience & Skills: Previous medical oncology experience in an acute care facility is preferred

Licensure

***** Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Florida

***** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
