Job Description
The Holy Hill Area School District is currently seeking a part time Administrative Assistant for Pupil Services. This is a 50% position. This individual will work approximately 20 hours a week with limited hours worked during the summer months.
Duties include but are not limited to: Work closely with the Director of Pupil Services on IEP compliance, processing and reporting. Medicaid Billing Organize and process all incoming and outgoing student records and IEP’s. Assist with student enrollment. Work with a variety of computer systems such as: SEEDS, WISEdata, Kompas Care, Skyward, DPI Special Education Portal and Google Drive. Maintain, file and update various office files.
Qualifications: High school diploma minimum. College credits or degree encouraged. Previous secretarial experience preferred. Strong customer service minded approach when working with parents, staff and students. Office rapport skills to assist students, parents and community with a variety of tasks/questions. Experience in administrative office work OR an experienced special education teaching background preferred. Dependable work record. Effective organizational skills and ability to prioritize a variety of work projects. Ability to problem solve through a variety of tasks and priorities, but knows when to ask for help. Positive and friendly work attitude. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Experience with or the ability to learn special education law and procedures for compliance. Ability to work effectively, independently and in a team setting with minimal direction. Maintain a high regard for student confidentiality. Must be able to manage challenging situations as they arise and work under pressure.
