  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Program and configure automation systems including Lutron (HomeWorks QS/QSX, RadioRA 2/3), Savant, Control4, Crestron, and related subsystems.

    • Develop and load system code, user interfaces, and configuration files.

    • Prepare and pre-configure equipment and devices prior to deployment.

    • Install, troubleshoot, and support integrated lighting, AV, control, and network systems.

    • Configure devices using IR, IP, and RS-232 control protocols.

    • Perform system testing, calibration, and commissioning for new installations.

    • Provide on-site and remote service support, including diagnostics, processor checks, and guided client troubleshooting.

    • Deploy, configure, and manage complex wired and wireless networks, including switches, access points, firewalls, VLANs, and IP management.

    • Create and maintain accurate documentation, including device lists, wiring schedules, network maps, and secure password repositories.

    • Communicate clear, timely updates on project status, service actions, and follow-ups.

    • Uphold the company’s commitment to delivering a seamless, positive client experience.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in home automation programming or service.

    • Proficiency in Lutron programming, Savant, Control4 Composer, Crestron, and IR/IP/RS-232 configuration.

    • Solid understanding of AV integration, low-voltage systems, and foundational networking.

    • Experience deploying and managing enterprise-grade wired and wireless networks.

    • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical plans.

    • Strong command of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.

    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    • Ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight.

    • Flexibility to work extended hours when needed—often without prior notice—due to system failures, client emergencies, or time-sensitive technical issues.

    • Strong technical aptitude across multiple system types and disciplines.

    • Organized, proactive, and able to manage tasks independently.

    • Excellent client-facing communication and professionalism.

    • Ability to absorb feedback, adjust quickly, and remain composed in dynamic environments.

    • Strong analytical and creative troubleshooting abilities.

    • Positive, team-oriented mindset with passion for technology and service.

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, including urgent system needs.

    Salary Range: ~$100K+
    Status: Full-time
    Hours: 40 hours per week
