Position Overview A-Team Youth & Family LLC is seeking a licensed, master’s-level therapist to provide in-home, community-based family therapy services for youth and families referred through the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS).
This is not a remote position — therapy sessions take place in clients’ homes or community settings throughout Marion County and surrounding areas.
This is a 1099 subcontractor role — not a W-2 position — and ideal for experienced, compassionate professionals who value autonomy, strong support, and meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities
Provide home-based individual, family, and/or group therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions
Deliver trauma-informed care that addresses emotional, behavioral, and relational needs
Collaborate with families, DCS, schools, courts, and other service providers
Complete mental health assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries accurately and on time
Facilitate family engagement and support reunification and preservation goals
Maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and respect
Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage & family therapy, or related clinical field
Licensed in Indiana (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, HSPP) OR license-eligible and under required supervision
At least 1 year of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and/or families
Ongoing weekly supervision required if not independently licensed (agency-supported)
Knowledge of child abuse/neglect, child development, family dynamics, and community resources
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
Ability to pass criminal, BMV, CPS, FBI fingerprint, and state background checks
Strong clinical documentation, organizational, and time management skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Bonus Points If You Have:
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Experience working with trauma, attachment, or child welfare-involved families
Familiarity with Indiana’s DCS and child welfare system
