About the Role:

A Place At Home Towson is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our growing team in Gaithersburg, MD. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need support to live comfortably and independently at home. Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support

Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety at home

Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed

Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces

Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families

Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors

Assist with medication reminders and daily living activities

Transport or accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Home Care Aide, CNA, PCA, or in a similar caregiving role preferred

Valid Maryland state certification or eligibility to obtain one is a plus

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for helping others

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
