Assisting Hands East Charlotte is looking for caregivers who believe in our mission statement. We want to offer our clients personalized non-medical support services in their homes, helping the elderly, disabled, and others needing assistance to maintain their quality of life. We want our services to support individuals' choices and preferences to maintain their dignity and independence.

Job Description:

Providing companionship and basic emotional/ psychological support

Maintains excellent hygiene standards

Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, feeding, etc

Light housekeeping tasks

Medication reminders

Laundry and linen changing

Remains compassionate and understanding while caring for clients.

Planning and preparing meals

Providing medication reminders

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs

Flexible with the ability to adapt to new situations

Reachable via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and/ or emergencies

Prior experience with elder care is a plus

High school degree or equivalent

Current CPR and First Aid certificate

Up-to-date TB test

Proof of vehicle insurance

Pay range: $15.00-$17.00 Hourly
