Position Summary
The Home Care Marketer is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with referral sources and the community to generate new client leads and grow the agency’s client base. This individual will represent the agency in a professional and caring manner while educating healthcare providers, social workers, families, and other potential partners about our home care services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase referrals and brand awareness.
Identify and build relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, physicians, social workers, case managers, and community organizations.
Conduct in-person visits to referral sources and attend community networking events and health fairs.
Promote services through presentations, outreach, and distribution of promotional materials.
Track and report referral sources, conversion rates, and marketing activities.
Maintain a strong understanding of the agency’s services, eligibility requirements, and differentiators.
Collaborate with the care coordination and intake teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Represent the agency with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm in all external engagements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Prior experience in healthcare marketing, home care, or related field is strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in the field.
Comfortable making cold calls, public presentations, and engaging with diverse populations.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
Knowledge of the home care industry, Medicaid/insurance programs, or DDD services (a plus).
Working Conditions
Field-based role requiring travel within the service area.
Occasional evening or weekend events may be required.
