    Job Title: Home Care Scheduler Location: 700 Bishop Street, Suite 610, Honolulu, HI 96813 Job Type: Full Time Salary: $40k - $50k Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k Schedule: Mon-Fri (Flex Work Program: 3 days in office and 2 days work from home) Potential Start: July 2026

    Do you thrive on precision, excel in fast-paced environments, and enjoy keeping operations running seamlessly? Join HiHealthCare as a Home Care Scheduler, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting core operations while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and internal standards.

    The Home Care Scheduler works directly with the President while supporting clinical and billing teams to keep operations running smoothly. In this fast-paced role, you’ll drive continuity of care, coordinate patient services, streamline communication between staff and management, and manage dynamic field staff schedules. You’ll also stay on call to quickly handle after-hours or weekend schedule changes, ensuring care remains seamless, responsive, and on track at all times.

    Day To Day:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for field staff and patients on scheduling needs, changes, preferences, and inquiries, including after hours and weekends, with flexibility to adjust in-office hours accordingly.

    Track, update, and maintain staff, patient, and client schedules in the patient care system

    Coordinate staffing by aligning field staff schedules with patient/client availability and compatibility.

    Maintain accurate records related to nursing staff schedules, absenteeism, schedule adjustments, and related documentation.

    Provide regular reporting to the President and Nurse Supervisors regarding callouts, cancellations, overtime requests, client feedback, and other operational updates.

    Input data and manage master schedules within the Point of Care System.

    Prepare reports related to scheduling activity for leadership review and tracking.

    Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external staff and clients.

    Must haves:

    Must have at least 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare agency.

    Must have at least 1 year of experience in scheduling or staff coordination.

    Must have at least 1 year of experience in customer service.

    Must have at least 1 year of experience in patient-facing roles or patient communication.

    Must have strong follow-through and the ability to work with a sense of urgency.

    Must have proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).

    Must have proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.

    Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

    Must have strong communication skills across phone, text, MS Teams, and email.

    Must have proficiency in performing routine mathematical calculations.

    Must have the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with nursing staff.

    Must have the ability to handle confidential information in accordance with agency standards.

    Nice To Haves:

    Prior experience with “Axxess” patient care systems or EMR platforms.

    Prior experience with Home Care scheduling and care coordination
