Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care and support for a client with special needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals who require assistance with daily living activities and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone’s life.

Please Note: This position involves working in a home with one dog and cigarette smoke. Applicants must be comfortable with pets and tolerant of a smoking environment.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting as needed)

Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement within the home

Support with meals and feeding assistance as necessary

Perform light housekeeping tasks related to client care

Provide companionship and engage client in daily activities

Monitor and report changes in client’s physical or emotional condition

Follow care plan and agency guidelines to ensure quality and safe care

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or caregiver preferred

Ability to assist individuals with special needs in a patient and respectful manner

Must be comfortable working in a home with a dog and cigarette smoke

Strong communication skills and reliability

CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain)

TB test

Schedule & Pay $17hr Mon & Tues 9am to 1pm Every other Fri, Sat, & Sun 9am to 5pm
