African Caregivers LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to a 22-year-old young woman with autism.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support in the home and community.

Assist with community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement.

Safely transport the client to doctor's appointments, therapy appointments, and community activities.

Encourage independence and support the development of daily living and social skills.

Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.

Complete required documentation accurately and on time.

Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

Female caregiver strongly preferred based on the client's care needs and preferences.

Valid driver's license.

Reliable personal vehicle (required).

Clean driving record.

Comfortable transporting the client to appointments and community activities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional.

Authorized to work in the United States.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Compensation & Benefits
