About the Role:

ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our growing team in Covington, LA. In this rewarding role, you'll make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, in-home care that promotes independence and dignity. If you have a heart for helping others, we'd love to have you on board!

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families

Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation

Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors

Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed

Accompany clients to medical appointments or errands as required

Maintain accurate care logs and documentation in compliance with care plans

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, Caregiver, or CNA preferred

Valid HHA certification or willingness to obtain one

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor

Ability to perform light physical tasks including lifting and assisting with mobility
