    Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking experienced Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide compassionate care for clients living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease during weekend shifts in Centreville and nearby communities. We also have weekday and flexible shift options in Manassas, Gainesville, and other local areas.

    Your responsibilities:

    Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities

    Support dementia and Alzheimer’s clients with patience and respect

    Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility safety

    Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation

    Offer companionship, engagement, and emotional reassurance

    Medication reminders and documentation of visits

    Maintain a calm and safe environment at all times

    Requirements:

    Valid Home Health Aide certification in Virginia

    Previous experience caring for clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia

    CPR certification and proof of negative TB test

    Must pass a criminal background check per Virginia state law

    Reliable vehicle, driver’s license, and auto insurance

    Ability to lift 25 lbs. and assist safely with client transfers
