About the Role:

Join Home Instead as a Home Health Aide (HHA) in Annandale, VA, where you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to our clients, ensuring they live independently and comfortably in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.

Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.

Administer medication reminders and manage daily living activities.

Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to promote mental well-being.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.

Document and report changes in client condition to the care team.

Build strong relationships with clients and their families to enhance their care experience.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide preferred.

Previous experience in home care or healthcare setting is a plus.

Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others.

Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
