About the Client
An older female living with Dementia is seeking reliable, compassionate in-home support to maintain safety and independence. The client is occasionally alert and socially active but experiences mild memory issues and occasional forgetfulness. She enjoys staying active in the community — attending church, playing games, and going for walks. There are no pets in the home.
Responsibilities
Provide companionship and engage the client in friendly conversation and light social activities.
Offer medication reminders in the morning and evening.
Encourage hydration and healthy meal routines throughout the day.
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
Provide transportation to medical appointments, shopping, and errands.
Offer hands-on support as needed for safety during bathing and dressing (occasional assistance due to mild vertigo).
Ensure a safe environment by observing and reporting any concerns to the nursing supervisor.
Qualifications
Prior experience as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant
Valid Driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle required.
Hands-On CPR Certificate or willingness to complete
TB Test completed within the last 6 months or willingness to complete
Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
Must be comfortable supporting an individual with mild cognitive impairment/dementia.
