    Our busy home health agency is rapidly growing and we’re seeking an experienced home health aide to assist us in providing superior in-home health care to clients. Our ideal candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills, and 1-3 years of experience working as an HHA or caregiver. You’ll assist our patients with companionship, basic medical care, light housekeeping duties, personal care, and hygiene tasks so that they are empowered to live happily at home. Responsibilities: • Oversee medication tasks such as opening bottles, organizing self-administered dosing and arranging refills; and assist with meal preparation and planning • Take care of light housekeeping tasks including but not limited to vacuuming, bed making, laundry, etc. • Ambulate patients as indicated in the care plan, and help patients complete exercises and physical therapy as needed • Support patients to help them complete personal hygiene tasks like bathing, grooming, toileting, shaving, dressing, etc. • Execute basic medical tasks such as replacing bandages and dressings, taking vital signs, measuring glucose and ketone levels, and ensuring the proper use of medical devices • Administer Medications: Dispense medications as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN), maintaining an annual error rate of no more than one mistake. • Resident Response: Attend to resident call lights within 10 minutes to ensure responsive and attentive care. • Light Housekeeping: Perform regular light housekeeping in resident rooms at least once weekly to promote a clean and comfortable living space. • Service Charting: Accurately document all services provided without missing tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards. Qualifications: • Some college preferred, but a high school diploma or GED is required • 1-3 years of experience as an HHA/ home health aide, personal caregiver, nursing assistant, or personal care aid for a home health agency, at patient homes or care facilities settings is needed • Possess a valid state driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation • Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, you may also be required to stoop, bend, reach, and transfer patients up to 250 lbs as needed • Empathetic, compassionate, and kind personality with excellent organization and communication skills are desired • Extreme Ownership: Demonstrates accountability, ownership of outcomes, and proactively removes obstacles. • Resourcefulness: Finds effective solutions even with limited resources and independently seeks knowledge. • Passion for Purpose (Big Why): Possesses a strong, genuine dedication to serving and caring for vulnerable adults. • Commitment to Growth: Actively pursues self-improvement and team betterment each day. • Humility: Embraces a solutions-focused attitude, welcoming feedback, and putting egos aside for the best outcome. • Reliability: Shows up on time, prepared, and ready to deliver dependable support. • Gratitude: Maintains a positive outlook, seeking and appreciating the good in all situations. Compensation: $16 - $19 hourly
