Position Summary

Homewatch CareGivers is seeking compassionate and dependable Nursing Assistants or Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide essential in-home support that promotes comfort, safety, and independence for our clients.

Required Qualifications

Experience working with children; experience supporting children with autism is a plus

CNA certification not required, but preferred

Prior home care or healthcare experience preferred

Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients and families

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge required

Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection-control practices

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility

Monitor and document changes in clients’ health, including vital signs

Provide companionship and emotional support

Assist with medication reminders and basic care tasks

Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment following health and safety protocols

Collaborate with the care team to support client-centered care plans
