About the Role: Anuco Home Health Care LLC is looking for a detail-oriented Home Health Coding and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team in Chicago, IL. This is a critical role where your expertise in medical coding and quality standards will directly impact patient care and operational excellence. Responsibilities:

Assign accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes for home health patient records and OASIS assessments

Review and audit clinical documentation to ensure coding accuracy and regulatory compliance

Conduct quality assurance reviews of OASIS data submissions and clinical records

Identify documentation deficiencies and collaborate with clinical staff to resolve discrepancies

Monitor and ensure compliance with CMS home health guidelines, conditions of participation, and payer requirements

Generate QA reports and provide feedback to clinical teams to support continuous improvement

Stay current with home health coding updates, regulatory changes, and industry best practices

Requirements:

Certified Professional Coder (CPC), HCS-D, or equivalent home health coding certification preferred

Minimum 5+ years of experience in home health coding and/or quality assurance

Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and OASIS documentation

Familiarity with CMS home health regulations, PPS, and PDGM reimbursement models

Proficiency with home health EMR/EHR software and coding tools

Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
