LOCATION: We are looking for nurses to cover the westside (Santa Monica, West Los Angeles, MDR, Culver City) through Beverly Hills & West Hollywood occasionally in Hollywood and Hollywood Hills.
We are seeking 1 or 2 experienced, driven, and self-motivated home health Registered Nurses to join our growing teams. We are looking for RNs who are dedicated to establishing a career in Home Health. We need reliable individuals with weekday and weekend availability.
Home Health RN Minimum REQUIREMENTS:
STRONG IV SKILLS REQUIRED
PREVIOUS HOME HEALTH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Active RN license in California
RN degree from an accredited registered nurse program
BLS
One year of recent experience as an RN in a home health environment and two years of RN experience
Experience in wound care, patient teaching, medication management, lab draws, and IV infusion
Home Health Registered Nurse Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide a broad range of care and support services for patients recovering from a hospital stay, disability, chronic or terminal illness, and who need therapeutic treatment or assistance with the essentials of daily living
Consult & develop treatment plans based on physician's orders and initial patient assessment.
Provide nursing care and written care plans.
Complete clinical and medical documentation on all patients and submit regular patient care progress reports to EMR system
Professionally manage and coordinate the plan of care
Complete clinical and medical documentation on all patients.
Provide high quality support, education and comfort care to patients and their families
Perform duties in accordance with the orders of a patient’s physician, the policies and procedures of the health system and accepted standards of practice
Manage the end of life and comfort care for the patient when necessary
Excellent Communication skills (text, email, phone call, verbal) with patients and colleagues. High level of compassion, patience, and empathy.
PAY: HIGHLY Competitive per visit pay (DOE), based on type of visit (SOC: $200, F/U $100, ROC $150, DC $100), PAID EMR TRAINING AND SHADOW TRAINING @ $50/HR
