LA Remedy Home Health is looking for an amazing Intake Coordinator to join our expanding team.
LA Remedy provides home health services across LA county, San Fernando Valley, and Orange County. Our office is located in Inglewood right off the 405 fwy. We work with highly trained Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide care to our patients in the comfort of their own home. Our goal is to provide high quality, compassionate care to our patients to support their health and overall wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of previous home health intake coordination experience, excellent and courteous communication skills, and understand that compassion and high standards of patient care is our company's mission.
The Intake Coordinator will work under the supervision of the CEO and Director of Nursing to coordinate the functions and schedules of the clinical services and patient appointments.
Intake of information
Admissions
Eligibility and Authorization checks
Scheduling of services, and timely flow of clinical information through the department to enable improved patient outcomes.
Required Skills:
General office skills
Computer skills with advanced knowledge of word, excel, and general knowledge of EMR systems
Effective and professional verbal and written communication
Telephone etiquette
Medical Terminology
Knowledge of durable medical equipment and patient supplies
Previous Home Health Experience REQUIRED
