Position Overview
The Home Health Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for field-based healthcare staff, with a primary focus on Home Health Aides (HHAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs). This role supports timely hiring across multiple service areas to meet staffing demands while ensuring a strong candidate experience and compliance with company hiring standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume field-based healthcare roles (HHAs, LPNs, RNs)
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, community outreach, and other recruiting channels
- Conduct phone screenings and initial candidate evaluations
- Coordinate interviews, orientation scheduling, and onboarding processes
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Ensure candidates meet all hiring requirements, including background checks, licensure, certifications, and onboarding documentation
- Partner with operations and scheduling teams to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for high-need areas and difficult-to-fill shifts
- Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records within systems
- Support urgent hiring needs and fluctuating census demands
- Assist with caregiver engagement and referral initiatives to support retention
- Represent the company at job fairs, community events, and other recruitment-related opportunities
- Represent the company professionally throughout all candidate interactions
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of recruiting experience required
- Previous healthcare, home health, or caregiver recruiting experience required
- Experience in high-volume recruiting environments
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting HHAs, caregivers, or nursing staff
- Knowledge of home health hiring requirements and compliance standards
- Experience participating in job fairs, community outreach, or in-person recruiting events
- Experience recruiting across multiple territories or service areas
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and onboarding platforms
- Experience with creative sourcing strategies and pipeline development

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year DOE
