Responsibilities: • Oversee medication tasks such as opening bottles, organizing self-administered dosing and arranging refills; and assist with meal preparation and planning • Assist patients in completing personal hygiene tasks like bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, shaving, etc. • Execute basic medical tasks such as replacing bandages and dressings, taking vital signs, measuring glucose and ketone levels, and ensuring the proper use of medical devices • Transport patients as needed to doctor’s offices or other health care services, grocery shopping, or for other errands • Collaborate with the case manager to implement care plans for patients, and maintain updated and accurate care records Qualifications: • Some college preferred, but a high school diploma or GED is required • Carry a valid state driver’s license, current auto insurance, and have reliable transportation • Must have 1-3 years of experience as a personal caregiver, HHA/ home health aide, nursing assistant, or personal care aid for a home health agency at patient homes or care facilities setting • Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is highly valuable- approved home health aide training programs from community colleges are accepted Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
