Registered Nurse (RN) Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is rapidly expanding and needs to hire nurses who have the desire and compassion for providing services to individuals who reside in their homes. Home Helpers works with individuals that require a nurse with astute assessment skills. You will be responsible for performing client care assessments, caregiver training, and occasional supervision of Home Health Aides and CNAs.

Qualifications:

1. Must have state or compact nursing license.

2. At least 2 years of clinical experience.

3. Adaptable to work with individuals in the home.

4. Excellent communication and time-management skills.

5. Ability to travel to see multiple individuals per day.

6. Good teaching and training qualities.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform initial and follow-up care assessments on individuals in their homes.

2. Perform vital signs and medication reviews.

3. Assess individuals for skin integrity and make recommendations.

4. Initiates and documents a plan of care for the client based on the established goals from the care assessment and discussion with family.

5. Complete caregiver skill assessments during orientation onboarding process

6. Be available for caregiver and client concerns and requests, as needed.
