Responsibilities

Assistance for Seniors or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents

Be responsible for providing companionship and supervision.

Assistance with ADL’s (Personal hygiene; Dressing; Eating; Transferring; Mobility).

Assistance with IADL’s like:

Care of Others like children and pets

Communication management

Community mobility (Complete client’s shopping or accompany them too successfully do so (EG: visit parks, libraries, places of interest for client)

Financial management

Health management and maintenance,

Home establishment and management (Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents)

Meal preparation and cleanup (Includes planning and preparing meals (Include grocery shopping if needed, cutting, preparing meals in advance, cleanup of kitchen and utensils).

Religious observance

Safety and emergency maintenance (Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment is preferred not required!

Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation every single day.

Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.

Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience as a Caregiver is a plus
