Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide personalized care for an elderly woman in the comfort of her home in New Jersey. This is a live-in position, and the CHHA will be required to work for 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.

Medication reminders

Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences.

Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations to promote mental and emotional well-being.

Perform light housekeeping duties, including maintaining a clean and organized living space for the client.

Monitor and report any changes in the client's health condition to the family or healthcare professionals.

Foster a safe and comfortable environment for the elderly woman.

Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.

Previous experience in caregiving or a similar role, especially with elderly individuals.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build a trusting and supportive relationship with the client.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in improving the quality of life for the elderly.

Ability to handle medical emergencies and respond calmly under pressure.

Requirements:

Proof of current CHHA certification in the state of New Jersey.

Clear criminal background check

Reliable transportation for commuting to and from the client's residence.

Excellent references from previous employers or clients.
