Client Scheduling Representative
Home, Hope and Healing has created another full-time position in our scheduling department for a Client Scheduling Representative at our Smithfield office! Primary responsibilities:
Ensures positive customer service and accurate, thorough, and timely communication in all interactions with clients/their families and HHH professional and paraprofessional staff.
Coordinates client scheduling to ensure optimized home health care delivery and alignment of scheduled care with authorization for payment.
Creates schedules for client care considering client/family needs and situation, feedback from clinical managers, location, as well as clinical team member skills, personalities, and interests.
Engages in problem solving in collaboration with the care team and managers.
Rotates after-hours On Call phone coverage.
Education & Experience Requirements: Customer service in health care experience is preferred. Familiarity with the home healthcare field/Personal Support Services a plus. AS degree or a combination of education and work experience in an office setting is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have good communication and listening skills with the ability to professionally answer questions or handle concerns from clients, families, staff, and outside organizations.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail, problem solving, and follow-through are critical elements of this job.
Must be reliable with a strong work ethic, have excellent customer service skills, and respect for client/patient confidentiality and privacy.
Good computer skills: ability to enter data and log information into computerized databases; ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
