If you’ve worked in customer service, hospitality, or any client-facing role, we’ll train you to become a professional Home Inspector. No prior experience needed. At Up Close Inspections, we’re building a home inspection team. Full-time W2 Home Inspector serving the metro Cleveland area and surrounding areas. This role offers stable pay, benefits, and the chance to grow with a supportive team. What You’ll Do • Inspect homes & small commercial buildings (photos + thermal imaging) • Provide add-on services (water testing, sewer scopes, pest inspections) • Communicate clear, honest findings to clients & agents • Work in attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops — this is hands-on, not a desk job What We Offer Starting pay during training with advancement opportunities to $60K–$70K+ Professional development & room for advancement Who We’re Looking For • Strong people skills, eager to learn a trade • Detail-oriented, professional, and reliable • Physically able to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs, work in tight/elevated spaces Vaild drivers license and no citiations in the past 3 years and a decentrecord & background check • Tech-savvy with a positive attitude • Veterans encouraged to apply Our Values • Friendly– Clients should feel comfortable and supported • Communicative– Clear, timely updates every step of the way • Honest– No spin, just the facts • Professional– Quality work and respectful conduct • Giving Grace– Patience and respect for every client, agent, and teammate • Collaborative– We work together to achieve better outcomes Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • 401(k) • Medical, Dental, and Vision after 1 year of employment Experience: • Customer Service, Hospitality, or Client Facing: 2 years (Required) • Work Location: In person Responsibilities: • Write a detailed report following each inspection that includes photos and specific descriptions of any damages observed • Respond to clients’ inquiries quickly to keep them informed and provide superb customer service • Make detailed notes for each home system so that the buyer and seller are both aware of every potential problem on the property • Schedule inspections with property owner to ensure full access to the property • Go through residential homes top to bottom to evaluate any repairs that need to be made • This career requires an 8–10 week training process and ongoing learning. You must be willing to fully commit to that process Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and able to travel by car • Has no problem with heights or confined spaces; able to evaluate roofs, crawl spaces, and attics • Must have working knowledge of basic home systems including plumbing, HVAC units, electrical, and security alarms • Can manage a variety of projects at once and stay organized • Familiar with basic computer software and use of email technology • High school diploma or equivalent required • Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills are a must • Willing to work in all weather conditions Compensation: $70,000 yearly
