Home Instead Senior Care-Central Dallas provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Position:Our Home Instead Senior Care-Central Dallas office is currently seeking a caring and compassionate On-Call Coordinator to become part of our team and join the mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our Dallas community. We are looking for a weekday and weekend On-Call Coordinator who will support our Central Dallas office after hours. The On-Call Coordinator will primarily be responsible for answering our phone calls after 4:30p.m. on weekdays (until 8:30 a.m. the next morning) and all day and night on 3 weekends per month (until 8:30 a.m. on Monday morning). The after-hour calls will include caregiver/client scheduling changes, client plan of care matters, and new client service inquiries. There usually are 20-30 calls to be handled over the weekend. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make additional income while enhancing the lives of seniors and while working from home. A cell phone will be provided by the company, or you may use your own phone. *Please only apply for this position if you are available on and after 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. Monday morning for weekday shifts, and available after 4:30 p.m. on Friday nights until 8:30 a.m. on Monday morning for weekend shifts.Ideal Candidate:

    Mature, self-confident, professional and service minded.

    Tolerance for stress and uncertainty. Fast, efficient, and creative in solving problems, relating to people and logistics.

    Computer proficiency. Can navigate Windows easily and learn new programs quickly.

    Patient/Supportive personality.

    Clear, written, and verbal communication and ability to listen effectively.

    Must be patient and congenial on the telephone.

    Very detail oriented. You're someone who is organized, keeps detailed notes, and understands the importance of proper and accurate documentation and communication.

    Able to collaboratively work with other members of the office staff.

    On-call experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Will train the right candidate.

    Education/Experience Requirements:

    High school graduate or equivalent

    One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered

    Experience working in the senior field is a plus

    Must possess a valid driver’s license

    Training at our Central Dallas office will be required.
