Home Staging Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and hardworking Home Staging Assistant to join our growing staging and design team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys interiors, design, organization, and working in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will play an important role in preparing, installing, maintaining, and breaking down residential staging projects throughout NYC.

Responsibilities

Assist with furniture deliveries, installations, and staging projects

Organize furniture and accessories

Assist the design team with placing furniture, artwork, rugs, décor, and accessories

Prepare furniture and accessories for upcoming projects

Help maintain organization and cleanliness of the inventory through our inventory manager

Organize and label inventory by item, size, color, and category

Inspect furniture and décor for damage or wear and report issues to management

Assist with packing, wrapping, and properly storing furniture and accessories

Help maintain staging inventory and ensure items are returned to their proper locations

Assist with staging breakdowns and furniture returns

Follow project instructions and staging plans carefully

Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working in client homes and properties

Communicate effectively with the staging and design team

Take photos of completed installations and inventory when requested

Perform other staging, warehouse, and administrative tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in home staging, interior design, moving, hospitality, or a related field is a plus, but not required

Strong interest in interiors, furniture, and design

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative

Comfortable working in a physically active environment

Able to travel throughout the tri-state area

Comfortable working in residential buildings, apartments, and homes throughout NYC

Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Must have a positive, can-do attitude

Ability to follow direction while also being proactive when something needs to be done
