    Job Summary

    Title. Home Staging Team Lead

    Duties. This role leads and trains teams of furniture movers to do home stagings. This is putting furniture in empty homes and styling it. No experience is necessary in styling. We teach you how to do this to company standards and then you would teach others.

    You will be traveling to a different location each day, ensuring boxes and furniture are properly wrapped, and loading everything specified into a vehicle. You will also be responsible for securing the load properly to ensure nothing is damaged or destroyed, unloading the items at the destination, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in all weather conditions, has strong customer service and communication skills, and can comfortably work on their feet lifting heavy objects.

    Ability to lift 50lbs and move lightweight furniture up stairs

    Coordination with a partner to arrange furniture in a house

    Can drive a cargo van and a box truck Can comfortably work in all weather conditions

    Team Coordination

    Lead the team on jobsites by making sure everyone knows their task and is doing it correctly

    Be the primary contact for any 3rd party companies that the team meets with including realtors, property managers, home owners, etc

    Making sure leadership knows about damaged inventory and issues with the staged houses or jobsites

    Fixing furniture according the needs of the stylist

    Train new employees on how to pack furniture correctly and how to style the houses

    Driving the Cargo Vans and Box Trucks

    Driving up to 50 miles one way in a vehicle

    Parallel parking in city environments including D.C., Annapolis, and Baltimore

    Driving safely in traffic through city environments

    Arranging and Packing Furniture

    Using pictures to decorate a house in order to match the photo

    Understanding when furniture doesn’t look right or functional in a house

    Hanging pictures and mirrors

    load fragile ornaments into a box and carefully pack them for transport

    Understand best packing methods for loading furniture into a truck

    Travel to each location and ensure all boxes are properly packed, and all furniture is ready to move safely

    Load everything into the truck or vehicle with the team, taking care to make sure everything is well organized and the load is properly distributed
