SOLAR ELECTRICIAN TRAINER

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management to conduct needs analysis studies to determine training needs within organization.
• Ensure technicians have the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitude to perform their assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner.
• Coordinating on-the-job training activities with field trainers and supervisors.
• Effectively communicate the learning objectives and demonstrate the principles and job functions related to that material.
• Conduct and supervise training seminars and bootcamps.
• Maintain document control standards for trained personnel.
• Revise and develop lesson plans based on training needs.
• Put together training handbooks.
• Communicate with multiple levels of apprentices as well as other instructors.

The successful candidate will have...

• 1+ years in office type position.
• 1+ years of experience in a training role, preferably technical training.
• Minimum of 5+ years electrical required.
• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in performing electrical services associated with solar PV installation required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required.
• Proven safety record required.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Valid driver license required.
• Excellent people skills are a must.
• Experience with developing training documentation (lesson plans, procedures, reports, etc.)

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be willing to travel 75% of the time to and from job sites for hands on training.
