    DESCRIPTION:

    The HR Generalist has a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from policy creation to performance management. This role has the highest degree of integrity and is adept at handling stressful situations. This role is the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics and will play a big part of ensuring the HR department’s operations run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist with all internal and external HR related matters.
    • Administer the new hire onboarding program.
    • Assist in employee offboarding.
    • Help research, organize, and implement training, development, and culture initiatives.
    • Maintain employee files and records in electronic form.
    • Support and maintain the HRIS system.
    • Assist with transferring pay period information on employee changes to payroll.
    • Perform tasks required to administer benefit plans.
    • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
    • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
    • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like employee turnover rates.
    • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes, when needed.
    • Serve as the backup for office administration tasks, when needed.
    • Keep up to date with latest HR trends, compliance measures and best practices.
    • Other projects/duties as assigned.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Proven experience as an HR professional.
    • At least two years of human resources experience preferred.
    • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
    • Able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
    • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office Suite, Adobe; HRIS systems will be a plus.
    • Excellent communication and people skills.
    • Highly organized and detail orientated.
    • Aptitude in problem-solving.
    • Works comfortably in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Desire to work as a team with a result-driven approach.
    • BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant field desired, but not required.
    • Additional HR training a plus.
