Responsibilities: • Manage a small year-round staff alongside a large seasonal 24/7 team in Oklahoma City, OK. • Oversee all order fulfillment, inventory control, and processing operations in a 32,000 sq ft e-commerce fulfillment center and storage facility. • Implement Six Sigma and/or Lean process improvement techniques to enhance fulfillment operations efficiency. • Directly supervise the WMS system and warehouse technology, including liaising with technology providers and managing reporting functions. • Establish and enforce proper fulfillment procedures like demand-based slotting and effective replenishment methods. • Set, track, and act on key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize fulfillment processes. • Ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders to minimize damage and mis-shipment rates. • Coordinate fulfillment activities with shipping companies, 3PL partners, and vendors like Fedex, UPS, USPS. • Conduct data analysis, gather insights, and proactively implement process improvements. • Negotiate vendor contracts and identify opportunities for cost savings within operations. • Address any unexpected issues promptly to prevent hindrances to daily/weekly fulfillment goals, including software vendor or third-party challenges. Qualifications: • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in small package order fulfillment. • Candidate must possess at least 5 years of experience working with WMS systems. • A minimum of 4 years of experience in managing a team of at least 40 employees is required. • We are looking for a data-driven individual with a strong background in analytical skills and process design/implementation. • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Fulfillment Operations, or a related field is a must. • Proficiency in Excel and computer skills is essential for this role. • The candidate should be self-motivated, capable of managing workloads, meeting deadlines, and delivering results consistently. Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000
