We are currently seeking a South Carolina certified Multi-Categorical Special Education Teacher to provide homebound instructional services for a 6 year old student in the Five Forks/Greenville area (Monarch Elementary/J.L. Mann district).
Position Overview & Logistics
Location: Student’s home in the Five Forks region (Greenville, SC).
Curriculum & Support: All instructional materials and lessons will be provided by the student's school-based Case Manager.
Schedule Requirements: The parent has requested morning instruction between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Hourly Breakdown:
Phase 1 (Make-up Hours): To fulfill 40 hours of compensatory time, the instructor will visit Monday–Thursday for 2 hours per day.
Phase 2 (Ongoing): Once the 40 hours are complete, the schedule will transition to 1 hour and 15 minutes daily, Monday–Thursday (5 hours total per week).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver specialized instruction based on provided lesson plans.
Conduct regular progress monitoring to track student growth.
Maintain consistent communication and "check-ins" with the school-based Case Manager to ensure IEP compliance.
Requirements
Current South Carolina Teaching Certification in Special Education (Multi-Categorical).
Reliable transportation to the Five Forks/Monarch area.
Experience working with students with Moderate Intellectual Disabilities is preferred.
