Job Description: Remote FHA DE / VA SAR Underwriter
Job Location: Irvine, CA / Remote
Salary: $130,000 + Bonus
Requirements: 3-5+ years of Residential Mortgage Underwriting experience. VA SAR Cert & FHA DE Underwriter Certification REQUIRED. Located in Irvine CA, Homeside Financial provides VA, FHA and Conventional loans alongside the best service the mortgage industry has to offer! Our dedicated and highly experienced in-house ops team work tirelessly to provide our clients the quickest turnaround times industrywide, and we’re actively looking to recruit seasoned and driven underwriting rock stars to our all-star team!
We’re looking to onboard experienced and licensed VA and FHA Underwriters who are tired of settling for less than they deserve, and looking to join one of the most robust and professional teams within the mortgage industry. Within this role, you’ll be responsible for evaluating the credit risk of prospective borrowers, income/employment documentation, and assist in the decision making of all approvals, suspensions, and denials of loans. Ideally, your list of qualifications will include the following:
· 3-5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting experience with VA / FHA Loans
· Ability to meticulously scrutinize credit reports, income documentation, assets, liabilities, property appraisals and title reports to ensure all loans adhere to Homeside Financial’s qualification standards
· FHA DE Underwriter Certification
· VA SAR Certification
· High Proficiency in Ellie Mae “Encompass”
· Must be authorized to with in the U.S.
