We are looking for 2 experienced loan officers with the need and desire to grow their business through working with our qualified real estate agents. We are seeking a relationship-oriented mortgage loan officer, with experience and the desire to serve, to join our team. Homestead Mortgage is associated with the brokerages Homestead Realty, Inc and North Shore Homes! This means access to referrals from 260+ agents. This is a commission-based position with great earning potential based on production. Where? Our office is in Milwaukee, but we give our loan officers the flexibility to work from home. Apply today! Responsibilities: • Oversee all customer interactions and ensure a smooth transaction by interfacing with realtors, processors, and underwriters • Seek out, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements • Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to and deadlines met • Counsel clients to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them Qualifications: • Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License • Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and company underwriting policies and guidelines • Multiple years of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required • Understand a variety of loans such as: FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/adjustable, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Jumbo Loans Compensation: $50,000+
